Serenity House
Your Help Matters
IHOC’s Serenity House is the organization’s newest transitional housing initiative, located at 802 Station Avenue in Haddon Heights. Acquired in August 2024, Serenity House will serve as a residence for up to nine men as they work toward obtaining permanent housing. The property, formerly a rooming house, is being renovated to provide a supportive environment, including a House Manager who will oversee daily operations and enforce house rules. Serenity House represents IHOC’s commitment to addressing homelessness in Camden County by offering a structured, comprehensive program that helps individuals rebuild their lives.
The Serenity House project is a $1.4 million investment, with $700,000 allocated for the property purchase, $400,000 for renovations, and $300,000 for maintenance. IHOC is excited to partner with its supporters to bring this vision to life, ensuring a safe and supervised environment that will transform lives while contributing positively to the Haddon Heights community.

Serenity House Grand Reveal
The Grand Reveal!
IHOC proudly celebrated the grand reveal of Serenity House on June 4th 2025! Featuring a joyous ribbon cutting ceremony and a heartfelt speech from Haddon Heights Mayor Zachary Houck, we opened our doors to the community so everybody could see one of the proudest achievements in IHOC history. Special thanks to Mario Milano and VAR Construction for their incredible renovation work, without which none of this would have been possible, and to everyone who joined us for this exciting milestone.
