Adopt-A-Box

Dear Friends,

Would you like to make a difference in a homeless person’s life? You can….by joining in our Adopt-a-Box drive.

The Interfaith Homeless Outreach Council (IHOC) is starting its annual Adopt-a-Box drive to collect shoe boxes filled with personal care items for those who are staying in shelters or using day centers in our area.

As you can see from the enclosed flyers, take a shoe box, fill it with personal care items, label it…. MAN, WOMAN, BOY, GIRL or BABY. The filled shoe box can be dropped off at one of the congregations listed on the flyer. The drop-off dates are:

Monday, March 11, to Friday, March 15, 2013 , 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon (Please note there are no Saturday drop off locations)On Sunday March 17h, all shoe boxes should be brought between 1:00 and 3:00 PM to the final drop-off location which is:

Dambly House
12 Warwick Road, Lawnside, NJ 08045
First driveway entrance on Gloucester Avenue
Shelters and day centers will pick up the shoe boxes at the Dambly House on
Thursday, March 21, 2013

We are looking forward to another successful collection. Please copy the enclosed flyers and distribute them to the members of your congregation, business colleagues, youth groups, friends, relatives, etc.

Our Adopt-a-Box drive is a wonderful way for people to get involved in helping the less fortunate. Thank you for taking a few minutes to help make life a little brighter for someone who truly needs your caring support.

Please help us to keep our records up-to-date by letting us know when you have a change of address, addition, correction, change of personnel, or if you would like to be removed from our mailing list. Thank You! We appreciate your continued support.
